Hi, Saints & Angels Family,
Welcome to your first Sunday Reset a weekly moment to breathe, check in, and see what’s unfolding at Saints & Angels. Every week you’ll get: a sound healing tip your class schedule an instrument spotlight a quick snapshot of what happened in the studio and a behind-the-music insight from me Let’s begin…
|
Sound Healing Tip of the Week THE POWER OF ARRIVAL Before any sound touches your body, your breath sets the entire nervous system pattern for the session. When you take two slow inhales and two longer exhales right as you arrive, you’re telling your system: “We’re safe. It’s okay to soften. It’s okay to land.” I do this simple practice in the studio as we begin each session.
Why it works: Long, slow exhalations activate the vagus nerve shifting you from fight or flight mode into a state where healing frequencies actually reach deeper tissue, deeper memory, and deeper clarity. Try this at home (10 seconds): Inhale for 3 Inhale again for 2 (stack the breath gently) Slow exhale for 6 Feel the drop.

Instrument of the Week: Low C Crystal Bowl (Root Chakra). The Low C is the bowl I use to anchor a session. It’s the frequency of: grounding stability safety foundation “coming home” energy Why I use it: Most people walk into the studio with adrenaline, tension, or scattered attention. Low C acts like a gentle gravity pull, it settles your energy, centers your breath, and signals the body that you can trust the studio. Where you’ll hear it: Almost every class this week especially in the opening 5–15 minutes. Front and center!
|
Behind the Music: Why I Start Journeys in the key of C C is the foundation. The “soil.” The place where the body says "We can drop in. We can settle." Starting in C lets the energy system settle before moving into more spacious or emotional frequencies like D, E, F, and later G, A, or C# (your soul chakra or doorway key) This is why most of my sound baths open with the Low C bowl before shifting upward into the full spectrum.

Studio Snapshot of the Week This week the studio saw some beautiful moments people settling into deep stillness within minutes, heart centers opening, and a few emotional releases that reminded me why sound work is sacred. One moment that stood out: A guest said, “I forgot what peace inside my own body felt like.” That’s the power of nervous system reset through vibration.
